idk how to explain it but the steve that exists in scenes with billy is not the same steve that appears in the rest of the show. billy-steve fucks. billy-steve is having a sexuality crisis. billy-steve is 2 seconds away from committing a federal offense and getting his dick sucked sloppy. this man is living in a porno and confused about every second of it and quite frankly thats the only version of him i care to see

earnestly, I think it’s because all the other characters have a certain level of disdain for Steve that holds him down (because the duffers weird unresolved high school complexes filter through).

But Billy sees Steve. Billy is focused on Steve. Billy challenges Steve, he wants more from Steve, he wants that fire, he goes looking for it, and Steve can’t help but meet him where he’s at.

(also Joe and Dacre just have that chemistry, can’t buy that.)

First part of a Twitter thread by @SamAsIAm: "A friend who is a municipal arborist just called to tell me about a guy who cut down 32 big mature trees on his neighbor's NJ property to get a better view of NYC. He hired a guy who hired another guy. Cut them down and left the debris there. The fine per tree is $1000 so the 1/ 2/ guy propably thought he was going to just pay a $32k fine. But the arborist wrote violations to all 3 parties, 96 in all (by hand, took him 12 hours) and there's a provision requiring the replanting of like trees "of the same size." And it's on an inaccessible by road"ALT
